Welcome to the Parish of Banyule
As the people of the Anglican church in north-eastern Melbourne, we are keen to see the good news of God’s love spread and people’s lives enriched.
Our Vision sums up who we are - “A people of faith, serving God and a blessing to others.”
We meet at three centres – our main centre is St John's in Heidelberg and we have two other churches - St Andrew's, Rosanna, and Holy Spirit, Watsonia.
Though the Anglican church is fairly traditional, (our church in Heidelberg dates back to 1848) we see our main aims as being to connect with this current generation, and to make sure that we as a people of God give something to the children of the future.
We offer intelligent and challenging biblical preaching, and thoughtful and friendly traditional worship.
We are a broad and inclusive church, and everyone is welcome. Please join us!

your death and resurrection bring new hope
and turn worlds upside-down:
remake us as your church,
growing, lively, vibrant, and always surprising.
May we be a blessing to others

and be renewed day by day in the power of your Spirit.
