Started in 1990, mainly music is a fun music group for parents or care-givers to enjoy together with their young child. Throughout the morning, children develop gross and fine motor skills, language, imagination, mathematical and pre-reading skills as well as socialise with others. They are introduced to music, creativity and more, plus families are given a chance to think about the God-part of life.
All our volunteers are appropriately screened, hold current Working With Children Checks, and abide by Child Safety protocols established by the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. You can read Banyule Anglican Parish's commitment to child safety on our homepage HERE.
Our program is held at Holy Spirit, Watsonia, corner of Watsonia Road and Ibbottson Street. It is held from 9:30am on Thursdays during the normal school term. Each mainly music session runs for approximately half an hour, followed by morning tea and play-time. There is a $6 per family weekly attendance fee.
