mainly music mainly music is an interactive fun music group for adults to enjoy together with their young child. We welcome families looking for community, a place for social inclusion and belonging. For children, the interactive music is not only a time for delight, it’s full of educational and developmental outcomes, such as gross and fine motor skills, language, mathematical and pre-reading skills. They’ll experience a time of attachment, creation of resilience and socialisation.
Our program is held at Holy Spirit Church, Watsonia, corner of Watsonia Road and Ibbottson Street, from 9:30am on Thursdays during normal school terms. Each music session runs for approximately half an hour, followed by morning tea and play or for the adults morning tea and a chat. There is a $6 per family weekly attendance fee.
All our volunteers are appropriately screened, hold current Working With Children Checks, and abide by Child Safety protocols established by the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. You can read Banyule Anglican Parish's commitment to child safety on our homepageHERE.
